Dismissal Gate Changes
There will be new dismissal gates for students in grades 1- 5. Please read the description below for the grade levels.
Kindergarten: The dismissal gate will remain the same; at the corner of 51st Street and South Hoover Street.
Grade 1: Students will now dismiss from the gate on 51st Street near the staff parking lot (the gate where grades 2 – 3 previously dismissed from).
Grades 2 and 3: Students will now dismiss from the gate on the corner of 51st Street and 51st Place (the gate where grades 4 and 5 previously dismissed from).
Grades 4 and 5: Students will now dismiss from the gate on 51st Place near the Early Education Center.
Late After 8
Regular and punctual attendance is expected of all students. The tardy bell rings daily at 8:00 a.m. Students that arrive to school after 8:00 a.m. will be considered late. The main entrance will close at 8:00 a.m. Students arriving after 8:00 a.m. will be directed to enter through a late gate and will receive a late pass stamped with time of arrival.

1st & 4th 10:05 am - 10:25 am
3rd & 5th 10:30 am - 10:50 am
PAL 10:55 am - 11:15 pm
K & 2nd 11:10 am - 11:50 am
1st & 4th 11:40 am - 12:20 pm
3rd & 5th 12:10 pm - 12:50 pm
We are asking all students that bring snacks to school to please bring a healthy snack to eat at recess. Healthy snack suggestions are fresh fruit, fruit cup, raisins, granola bars, juice, carrot sticks, celery, nuts, etc. Please do not allow your child to bring hot chips, gum, candy, or soda for snack. These are not foods on the LAUSD list of healthy foods.
